Maud Adams was born Maud Solveig Christina Wikstrom on February 12, 1945, and is a Swedish actress and model. She is best known for her roles as two different Bond girls, the first of which was in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), and the second of which was as the title character in Octopussy (1983). She also made many other appearances in films and television shows, such as The Christian Licorice Store (1971), Rollerball (1975), Killer Force (1976), and Merciless (1989). The photographer then entered the picture in the Miss Sweden contest that was organised by the magazine Allers. After that, her career as a model took off.
