Who is Sarah Greene?

Sarah Greene is a well-known English television presenter as well as an actress. She was born on October 24, 1957. She was a co-host on Blue Peter from May 1980 to June 1983, and she also hosted Saturday Superstore and Going Live! on Saturday mornings. Greene was born in St. Pancras, London, the daughter of Welsh do-it-yourself expert Harry Greene and English actress Marjie Lawrence. Greene was born in St. Pancras, London. Presenter Laura Greene’s older sister is a presenter in her own right. Greene attended Gospel Oak Primary School and the Grey Coat Hospital School in London

while simultaneously pursuing opportunities as a young actor in the entertainment industry. She attended the University of Hull, where she earned a degree in Drama before graduating. After that, she tried her luck in the acting communities of Birmingham, Manchester, and London. Greene had a part in the January 1980 episode of the daytime drama Together, which aired on Southern Television and ITV. She made her debut on Blue Peter after starring in the BBC version of Pamela Brown’s The Swish of the Curtain. After her performance, the editor of the show, Biddy Baxter, requested her to take over for Tina Heath, who was leaving the show. At the age of 22, Greene held the record for being the youngest person to ever appear on Blue Peter. Within two weeks of being hired, Greene began shooting for the series in Cornwall. During the three years that Greene was in charge of the show, it was awarded a BAFTA.

After leaving Blue Peter, Greene hosted Saturday Superstore with Mike Read and, later, co-presented Going Live! with Phillip Schofield. Both of these shows were after Greene’s departure from Blue Peter. Greene was the host of Going Live! when she was honored with the SOS Award for ‘Best Female on TV’ for three consecutive years and was in charge of the phone-ins during that period. After thereafter, she started making appearances in advertisements for Nescafé coffee that were shown on television. Later, she led Channel 4’s midday antiques series Collectors’ Lot. Later, Greene was a guest on an edition of the Coming Home series on BBC Wales, which was first broadcast on December 22nd, 2010.

Her mother had passed away a month before the shooting began, but she made the decision to go on with the process anyhow, working with her father, who is 87 years old. The documentary was able to reconstruct her family tree all the way back to Wales in the 17th century. Since 1985, Greene and her husband Mike Smith have served as directors of the aviation video firm Flying TV Ltd., which has its headquarters at Denham Aerodrome in Denham, Buckinghamshire. The company operates helicopters. Greene has continued to serve in Smith’s role as director of the corporation after Smith’s death.

In December 2012, Greene and her husband, Mike Smith, made an appearance on the episode of Pointless that aired on BBC One. Smith passed away on August 1, 2014, as a result of complications that arose after major heart surgery. During the month of April 2017, Greene appeared on an episode of This Morning as a guest host with Phillip Schofield. Alongside Rylan Clark-Neal, she appeared as a guest host three more times throughout the month of August, including once in July of the same year.

An accident involving a helicopter took place in Gloucestershire on September 10, 1988, leaving both Greene and her boyfriend, Mike Smith, a television and radio personality, with life-threatening injuries. Greene presented Going Live! although he was still in plaster after the pair had spent many weeks in the hospital recovering from their injuries.

In addition to presenting magazine shows such as the BBC’s Pebble Mill and Good Morning Summer with Will Hanrahan, Greene has also acted in the Doctor Who serial Attack of the Cybermen Casualty, Brookside, and French & Saunders. Hanrahan co-presented both of these series with Greene. In 1991, Greene and Smith joined Maggie Philbin and Robbie Vincent as the presenters of Hospital Watch on BBC One. Hospital Watch was a live fly-on-the-wall program that had been broadcast on BBC One since February 1986. Greene and Smith took over from Maggie Philbin and Robbie Vincent.

In the year 1992, she and Smith hosted a fake paranormal television show together under the title Ghostwatch. The show also included Craig Charles and Michael Parkinson, who was a chat show presenter. Greene and Smith made their debut in the world of feature films with the 1997 release of The Man Who Knew Too Little, which starred Bill Murray. In this film, Greene and Smith portrayed the roles of presenters on The Theatre of Life, a fictitious British television program that offered participants a part in a crime drama if they participated.

Greene entered into a relationship with the Food Network in 1996 that would last for four years. As part of this agreement, Greene hosted a daily news, discussion, and magazine series. Later on, Greene made an appearance on the ITV show Have I Been Here Before? and also served as a frequent presenter on the magazine show This Morning. In addition to that, she was a special guest on the series finale of The Harry Hill Show, and from 2005 to 2007, she was the host of Weddings Live on the Discovery Home & Health channel. Weddings Live was an annual six-hour presentation that included many weddings being aired live from different locations around the nation. Other speakers were Brendan Courtney and Armand Beasley, who is known for his work as a celebrity makeup artist and stylist.
