Percy Master P, whose real name is Robert Miller Sr. and who was born on April 29, 1970, is an American rapper, record producer, record executive, actor, and businessman. He is also known by his stage name, Master P. He was the first person to start the record label known as No Limit Records, which later became New No Limit Records under the auspices of Universal Records and Koch Records, then Guitar Music Entertainment, and is now known as No Limit Forever Records. In addition to that, he established P.

Miller Enterprises was the chief executive officer of Better Black Television, an internet television network that did not last very long. Miller rose to prominence in the middle of the 1990s because of the accomplishments of his hip-hop duo TRU and his fifth solo rap album Ice Cream Man. This album included his debut song, “Mr. Ice Cream Man,” and was released in 1996. In 1997, Miller saw a rise in fame as a direct result of the success of his platinum hit “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!” Miller has released a total of 15 albums recorded in a studio. Percy Robert Miller spent his childhood in the Calliope Projects, which are located in Central City, which is located in the Third Ward of Uptown New Orleans, Louisiana. He is the eldest of the five kids in the family.

He has one sister named Germaine and three brothers, two of which are platinum-selling rap singers named Corey “C-Murder” and Vyshonne “Silkk the Shocker” Miller. His sister’s name is Germaine. Both Booker T. Washington High School and Warren Easton High School provided education for him. Miller received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Houston, where he played basketball. However, he left the school a few months into his freshman year and went to Merritt College in Oakland, California, where he intends to concentrate on business administration.

Miller received $10,000 as a portion of malpractice compensation after the passing of his grandpa, which he inherited. Miller first established No Limit Records And Tapes, a record shop in Richmond, California, which would eventually serve as the cornerstone for the establishment of No Limit Records. The cassette tape titled “Mind of a Psychopath” was first issued by Master P on February 15, 1990. In the same year, he lost his brother Kevin Miller, who was murdered in New Orleans. This served to further motivate him to become a great businessman so that he could improve his life and provide for his family.

On February 12, 1991, Master P presented the world with his first studio album titled Get Away Clean. After this, in April of 1992, he released his second album, titled Mama’s Bad Boy. It was his follow-up to the previous record. Both albums were distributed to the public by the record label In-A-Minute. Who’s da Killer? was the title of Master P’s debut album that was a collaboration with his group TRU and was published in 1993.

On March 18, 1994, Master P released his third studio album, titled The Ghettos Tryin’ to Kill Me!; the album was then re-issued in 1997 as a limited edition under the label Priority. In the same year, Master P contributed to the compilation albums West Coast Bad Boyz, Vol. 1: Anotha Level of the Game and West Coast Bad Boyz: High for Xmas, both of which were released by No Limit Records. 99 Ways to Die was the fourth studio album that Master P released, and it was released on June 6, 1995.

After releasing two independent albums, Master P and TRU made their debut with a big label with the publication of their third studio album, titled True, in the year 1995. This album was successful enough to reach number 25 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart as well as number 14 on the Top Heatseekers chart. “I’m Bout’ It, Bout It” was the first single released from the album and is considered to be one of Master P’s most famous tracks. During the same year, he was also involved in the production of the compilation album titled Down South Hustlers: Bouncin’ and Swingin’.

Master P has said that those who were responsible for introducing him to Tupac Shakur in the early 1990s commonly referred to him as “Mr. P the country singer” while he was performing as an opening act for the rapper. In 1995, Master P relocated No Limit Records from California to New Orleans, bringing with him a roster of new recording artists and the in-house production team known as Beats By the Pound. Ice Cream Man was Master P’s fifth studio album, and it was released on April 16, 1996. The popular tune “Mr. Ice Cream Man” was included in it. Later in the year 1996, Master P reunited with TRU to continue working on Tru 2 da Game. However, the album did not come out until February 18, 1997.

At that time, TRU consisted of merely a trio, consisting of Master P, C-Murder, and Silkk the Shocker, all of whom were Master P’s brothers. Ghetto D was the breakout album for Master P, and it was released on September 2, 1997. The following year, the song garnered him a nomination for “Best Rap Video” at the MTV Video Music Awards; however, “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It” by Will Smith ultimately took home the award. MP Da Last Don was Master P’s seventh studio album, and it went on to become his best-selling album to that point. It was released on June 2, 1998. In the early part of that year, Master P debuted a movie with the same name. The album reached number one on the Billboard Top 200 charts during its first week of release, during which it sold more than 400,000 copies, and it went on to sell more than four million copies overall.

Only God Can Judge Me was Master P’s eighth studio album, which was released on October 26, 1999. The album included the song “Step To Dis” by the artist. After selling more than 500,000 copies, the album was awarded the gold certification. Da Crime Family was the sixth studio album that Master P and TRU released together under their name in 1999. Ghetto Postage, his ninth studio album, was released on November 28, 2000.
