Who is Lisa Faulkner?

Lisa Faulkner is an actress, presenter, and television chef. She was born on February 19, 1972, and her full name is Lisa Tamsin Faulkner. She has appeared in the following television shows: The Lover, Dangerfield, Brookside, Holby City, Spooks, Burn It, Murder in Suburbia, New Street Law, Murdoch Mysteries, EastEnders, and The Girl Before. Faulkner was the son of David Faulkner and Julie, and he was born in Merton, London. She attended Tiffin Girls’ School in Kingston upon Thames when she was growing up in Esher, where she grew up.

Her mother, Julie, passed away from throat cancer when she was just sixteen years old. Since then, Faulkner has spoken about the loss of her loved one in a number of interviews with various publications, including newspapers and magazines. When Faulkner was 16 years old, a modeling scout contacted her as she was waiting on the platform of a London tube station.

In 2005, Faulkner tied the knot with Chris Coghill, her co-star in the television series Burn It, in the city of London’s Richmond Park. The couple adopted a baby girl who was born in 2006 when she was fifteen months old. Despite this, the pair divorced and ended their relationship in 2011, and she later wed an Australian chef named John Torode. Together, they were a part of the production of the show “John And Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.”

Her debut as an actress came the next year, in 1992, in the film The Lover. In the television drama Dangerfield, which Faulkner starred in at the age of 23, she portrayed the role of Alison Dangerfield. She also had a role in the movie “A Feast at Midnight,” which was released in 1995. She had an appearance in the film And the Beat Goes On in the year 1996. After waiting another year, she landed the role of Louise Hope in the serial opera Brookside on Channel 4. She performed the role of Victoria Merrick in Holby City for three seasons, from 1999 to 2001. When John Torode and Lisa Faulkner claim that the bedroom is the place where their happy married life began, they do not mean what you think they mean…

This year, the pair will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary, and according to them, the key to a happy marriage is a bed that is always neatly made. They will be presenting ITV’s Weekend Kitchen again this coming Saturday. Despite having built out a place for herself on daytime television, Lisa has said that she has no plans to retire from acting as she and her partner prepare for their ninth season of Weekend Kitchen.

And thankfully, John is always there to assist her in memorizing her lines, even if it is possible to argue that he is a little bit too meticulous… “I mean, it’s very kind that he’ll run through it, but if you’re doing an audition, you just run through the lines that you need to learn,” the actress Lisa, who is 51 years old, adds.

When asked about the secret to the success of his marriage, John, who is 57 years old, responds, “A really well-made bed.” You put in a significant amount of time there! In all honesty, I believe that having a bedroom that serves as a haven and a place to retreat to is one of the most essential things. And those towels are quite wonderful…It is just as vital to take care of oneself as it is to take care of each other.” But the two are usually glad to spring out of bed for more television work, but they wouldn’t participate in the Bushtucker Trials on the show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”

Her character, Helen Flynn, was killed off in the very first episode of the first season of the television program Spooks. She had her hand and face burned in a deep fat fryer before being shot in the head at point-blank range. In 2004, she had a starring role on ITV as D.S. Emma Scribbins in the crime drama Murder in Suburbia. In this role, she portrayed a CID policewoman alongside Caroline Catz, who had the role of her superior officer, D.I. Ashurst.

In 2005, the program was brought back for a second season, and this time around, Scribbs choose to dress in the “boho-chic” trend that was so prevalent at the time. She began her role in the television series New Street Law in the year 2006. Faulkner took over for Nadia Sawalha as the narrator of the BBC One program Heir Hunters in June 2008 and continued in that role until 2017.

She was an instructor at Amanda Redman’s Artists Theatre School on a regular basis. Between the years 1999 and 2004, Faulkner was selected as one of FHM’s “100 Sexiest Women in the World” on six separate occasions. Big Brother’s Little Brother is a magazine program that is shown on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom and is based on the reality television show Big Brother. She was a frequent contributor to the show. Aside from that, she was a frequent contributor to the magazine program Angela and Friends aired on Sky1.

In 2010, she was victorious on Celebrity Masterchef, emerging victorious against Christine Hamilton and Dick Strawbridge in the championship round. She made her debut in the Murdoch Mystery’s third season premiere in 2010, which took place during the production of an episode that took place in and around Bristol, England, and which was later shown on Canadian television. She later returned to the show for a second guest appearance in the fourth season in 2011. Additionally, she made two appearances in the fifth season.

Alongside Matt Dawson, she was a co-host for the Real Food Family Cook-Off on Channel 5. 2011 was the year that the series debuted on television. Together with Ben Shephard, she presented the daytime program What’s Cooking? on Channel 4 in 2013, and two years later, she and Shephard collaborated once again to co-host an episode of This Morning Summer. It was revealed in March 2017 that she will be joining EastEnders as Fi Browning, a “stylish and sophisticated” entrepreneur. Her character was introduced in that month.

Later on, it was discovered that Fi was really Sophie Wilmott-Brown, who is the daughter of James Willmott-Brown, the man who raped Kathy Beale. In March 2019, Faulkner and John Torode were granted a culinary program that aired on the weekends. They are the hosts of “John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen,” which airs on ITV on Sunday mornings. Alongside his close friend Nicola Stephenson, Faulkner made an appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox in July 2019.  Faulkner has also established a successful career as a television chef, and in 2010, he competed in and won the competition known as Celebrity Master
