Who is Jeff Garlin?

Jeffrey Garlin is an American actor and stand-up comedian who was born on June 5, 1962. He is best known for his roles as Jeff Greene on the HBO sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm and Murray Goldberg, the patriarch of the titular family in the ABC sitcom The Goldbergs. He also portrayed Marvin in the Fox and Netflix television shows Mad About You and Mort Meyers in Arrested Development. Gene and Carole  Garlin welcomed Garlin into the world in Chicago, Illinois. He was raised in Morton Grove, Illinois, where his mother was interested in community theatre and his father ran Bilko, a plumbing supply company. Michael is his younger brother.  Garlin went to Hebrew school and is Jewish.
